Estes, Franklin David Sr. age 72 of Kettering passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at Kettering Medical Center. He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Virginia Combs and 4 brothers John Jr. Charlie, Joe and Paul. He is survived by his Wife Judy, Son Franklin David ( Robyn) Estes Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama, Daughter Rhonda Machelle (Ed) Hart of Washington Twp. 2 Sisters Thelma (Wayne) Hall and Dorothy (Richard) Jackson, 1 Brother –in-law Hubert Combs, 1 Sister-in-law Charlene Estes all of Dalton, Georgia as well as 5 grandchildren Tara, Courtney, John, Nick and Rob. 3 great- grandchildren Hayden, Hailey and Harper. Franklin had been employed at G.M. for 36 years having retired in 1999. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday Feb 25, 2015 at The Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Road, Dayton, Ohio of which he was a member. Rev. Larry Thomas officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 p.m. at church Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church.
