Fred William Hays

Hays, Fred W. age 65 of Kettering passed away Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents Winford Hays and Pauline (Gatrell). He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rita L. Hays of Kettering, OH; brother-in-law Rodney (Marcia) Dietz of Brookville; sister-in-law, Theresa (Bill) Stevens of Kettering; 3 sisters, Tammy Zivic of VA., Gina Monte of PA., Tricia Hays of W.VA, aunts; Betty Fabian of N.C., Loretta Fabian of Weirton, W.V., Priscilla Pyles and Jean Reels both in OH; Uncles; Noel Roberts in W.VA and Robert Roberts in OH; cousin, Patricia Fabian Hunt of Weirton, W.V. and other relatives. He graduated from Weirton High School in Weirton, W. V. Fred worked for the City of Kettering as a I.T. specialist for 30 years. He was a long time member of St. John’s Lodge #13 F&AM where he was a past master. He also was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Fred’s many interests included electronics, music, Ham Radios, collector of stamps, antique radios, compact discs and DVD’s. Funeral Service 10 am Tuesday September 26, 2017 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery in Tipp City, Ohio.
