Dr. George Richard Fronista, 89, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022. George was born November 30, 1932, in Steubenville, Ohio. George was a hard worker from a noticeably early age. He instilled that sense of hard work in his children. George also had a witty sense of humor that was enjoyed by friends and family alike. He liked a good game of cards, whether it was poker or euchre. George was exceedingly loyal in his relationships as evidenced in his long marriage of 63 years to his love, Irene Teresa Koetter Fronista, his children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
George was a graduate of Kaiser High School and St. Louis University. George also served in the US Air Force in a lab.
George is survived by his wife Irene, children Mike (Chris) Fronista, Theresa (John) Messer and Greg (Julie) Fronista, eight grandchildren; Daniel, Zachary, Meredith and William Messer, Carolyn (Messer) and Joshua Kirk, Sarah and Emily Fronista.
Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 10, 2022, at St. Charles Borromeo at 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering Ohio 45429. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial Calvary Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.tobiasfuneralhome.com
