SEELY, George H, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 in Beavercreek, Ohio. He was born on May 26, 1937 and raised by Charles B. Seely and Virgina I. Seely (Head). He graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School, in Hollidaysburg Pennsylvania. He was in ROTC at Penn State and graduated with a BS in Aeronautical Engineering in 1959. He spent 3 years in the Air Force and received a MS in Engineering Management at University of Dayton.
In 1983, George married the love of his life Sylvia. They enjoyed international travel and visiting local nature parks. He worked proudly at the Air Propulsion Lab at Wright Patterson AFB when he retired in 1992. He enjoyed watching sports, observing nature, and taking daily walks around his neighborhood, accumulating over 12500 miles. George was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia, parents Charles and Virginia, siblings (Chick, Larry, Pat, John). He is survived by his step sons Thomas Wills of Cincinnati, Scott Wills (Lisa) of Columbus, niece Elisa McCarthy (William), nephew John Seely (Junaita), and 6 great nephews.
