Georgie Toepfert

Georgie Toepfert, 90, of Beavercreek, OH passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, with her beloved daughter Deann by her side. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Georgie touched countless lives with her warmth, generosity, sense of humor and love of life.

Born in Cincinnati to George and Elizabeth Guenther, Georgie loved spending time with her family and friends. The numerous hours spent playing Yahtzee and cards truly meant a lot to her as well as watching her grandchildren participate in their numerous activities from bowling, dancing and baseball. She enjoyed her frequent visits with friends at the Beavercreek Senior Center, Red Hotties and the VFW.

Georgie married Don Toepfert in 1957 until his passing in 1995. They spent their time together enjoying bowling, boating, and cruises. They raised two children, Don Toepfert and Deann DeWitt in Las Vegas, Nevada where she resided until her return to Ohio in 2017.

Georgie is survived by her children Don (Jeri), Deann (Gary), six grandchildren, Gary III, Amanda, Brandon, Cindy, Evan, Rebecca, and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Don and her parents.

She will always be remembered as a truly caring, devoted, and loving person to all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 4p – 6p with the service following immediately at Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel. Guests are invited to the reception afterwards.

Georgie will be laid to rest in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV.
