Jones, Glendon G. “Glen”, age 85, passed away Wednesday January 29, 2014. Glen was a man of faith and an avid student of the Bible. He was a proud employee of Sears Roebuck and managed several different departments in the Dayton Mall and Salem Ave. stores. He was married for 58 years to Mary Edna Jones who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by a son, James Edward Jones. He is survived by his wife, Helen Kathryn “Katie” Jones; sons, David (Jean) Jones and Michael R. (Mindy) Jones; daughters, Brenda (Joe) Moore and Rose Ann (Steve) Ver; sisters, Mildred Waggoner, Mary Steinmeyer, and Joyce Seeger; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Private services will be held at Evergreen-Union Cemetery in Waverly, OH at the convenience of the family.
