Having fought valiantly with lymphoma cancer, on Sunday, July 03, 2011, Heidi passed into the eternal arms of our Lord and Savior.
Born in Columbus, OH, Heidi grew up in Oakwood and graduated from Oakwood High School. She was a member and soloist with the Dayton Ballet Company during those years and attended the Cincinnati University College Conservatory of Music where she majored in Vocal Performance. She moved to New York City where she performed in Industrial Commercials, off-Broadway productions, TV commercials, entertained aboard the Holland American Cruise Lines, and performed in the Warner Brothers movie, “Those Lips, those Eyes” starring Frank Langella. She met her husband, Randy, while performing together. They were married in 1986 and have lived in Campbell Hall, NY, since then.
Heidi was passionate about her three children’s schooling and became their home-school teacher from grade school through high school. All three have been accepted at colleges of higher learning.
Heidi was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Mariel Frances Easterbrook. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Randall Easterbrook, their children, Marguerite, George (Geordie), and Hope, her parents, Dr. Joseph and Peggy Albrecht, her loving care-giver sister, Gretchen Albrecht Canfield and husband, Dwight, their children, Jared, Miriam, and Grace, and sisters-in-law, Judy Green, Wendy Litterst, Laurie Johanson, and nieces and nephews Brooke, Tyler, Reid, Nelson, Erika, Stephanie, and David. She also leaves behind her dear Aunt Hoppy Albrecht as well as many beloved cousins and close friends.
