Messer, Iva Jean, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Don Messer. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Louise Childres, five sisters, a brother and her grandson, Nicholas Reeder. She is survived by two children: son, Rodney Messer and wife Melinda Matosky of Miami Twp. and daughter Audrey Dillon of Tipp City. Two grandsons also survive her, Gregory Reeder and Brad Matosky.
