Dear Nancy and Sowder family, My deepest sympathy to all of you.  I first met Jack over 35 years ago when he managed the ERCO Credit Union processing center, then got to know him better when he worked with Chaco CU in Hamilton developing their computer processing.  Jack was a true gentleman and blessing to me.  I have many fond memories of my time with him and the stories we shared.  Wishing you all God's special Blessings knowing Jack touched so many lives in a positive way.

My heart is sad for the very special Sowder Family.  I did not have the pleasure of knowing Jack but I can clearly tell by the reflections written about him that he was a highly skilled man whose great compassion and character inspired others.  I have the impression that he deposited that humble and effective legacy in his son, Jay, and his family.  I see such marvelous characteristics in them and am grateful for the heritage that they carry.  My condolences upon your great loss.

I was so blessed to have met Jack as I was starting my professional career.  His quiet, contemplative manner was something I notice almost immediately. 

Jack was one of my first customers and I was very fortunate to do business with someone with his honesty and loyalty.

In the beginning I took Jack's integrity for granted but I know now after 25 years of working with him and other business professionals that Jack was the model professional and very special.

I pray that God will bring comfort to your family.

He was gracious, loving, kind and was a true example of a Christian man. But most of all he was our friend, he will be deeply missed. Heaven gained an angel and we lost our earthy friend.

My condolences and deepest sympathies to the Sowder family.  Jack was a special person and he will be missed by all who knew him. My association with Jack was through his company but he made me feel like a friend not a customer.  My thoughts and prayers are with Jack's immediate family and extended family at CUC at this sad time.

My deepest sympathy to the Sowder family.  Jack was a very special person to me.  I will remember all the too short but wonderful times we shared, lodge meetings, Racquet ball in Kettering, boating on Lake Cumberland, family dinners and all the special occasions.  I know that God has a special place prepared in heaven for Jack!

My sincere condolences to the Sowder family.  I worked with Jack, beginning in 1963, at NCR Credit Union.  Then at ERCO as night keypunch operator, then into Customer Support.  He transferred me to Washington DC to manage the Support office there until 1976.  Jack was an amazing man to work for.  He was  very encouraging and instrumental in putting me on the right career path.  I remember how proud and how much he loved his family.  I know that there are no words to comfort you at this time of his loss.  But know that there are many, many, people who thought of him as a great man, and he will be remembered fondly.

So sorry to hear of Jack's passing.  Our C.U. worked with him many years ago and I always had high respect for Jack.  My prayers go out to the family at this very difficult time

Jack,  you will be missed terribly.  Life is so short and you never know when you will speak to someone for the last time.  We should all hug our loved ones tighter and more often.
