Jagdish Purusottom Parmar, 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1961 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India to the late Purusottom and Sharda Parmar. He graduated from Medical School and was a practicing Cardiologist in Ahmedabad before moving to Dayton, Ohio in 1990. He owned and operated a General Nutrition Center in Xenia, Ohio from 2002 to 2013 where he was able to combine his medical knowledge and his passion for helping others live healthier lives. He loved watching cricket, eating Indian food, and spending time with his family. Jagdish is survived by his wife, Alka Parmar; his son, Krishan Parmar; his sisters Asha Gohel and Rekha Chauhan; his father-in-law, Vrajlal Chauhan (Usha); his brother-in-laws, Husmukh Gohel, Rajv Malhotra, and Rahul Chauhan; his sister-in-laws Shree Malhotra and Vanita Kumar; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service for Jagdish will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio.
