James D. “Jimmy” Baker, age 60 of Xenia passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl (Brumma) Baker, and two children: Shamus and wife Megan Baker, and Marissa and husband Justin Chubner. Two grandchildren also survive him: Kaylee and Owen Chubner, as does his mother, Nancy (Meredith) Baker, a brother Kenny and wife Kimberlee Baker, a sister Deb Noble, best friend Smokey Bones and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood Baker and brother-in-law, Chip Noble. Jimmy was a graduate of Xenia High School and Rets Tech Center. He retired from Northrop-Grumman Corporation in January, following a thirty year career as an Operations Manager. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held, Sunday, May 23, 2021, 1-4 pm, at Ancil’s Place of Roxanna, 1981 Roxanna New Burlington Rd, Waynesville OH.
