I will forever remember Uncle Jim and his loving, sweet and caring soul.  I thoroughly enjoyed keeping up to date with him via our email chats.  My heart is filled with hope and joy at the possibility that he will now be joined in spirit to my dad, Dick Callihan.

Uncle Jim was one of a kind. He was always there with a smile and a hug, and to ask how you were doing. I will always remember our family visits on McGuerin St. Thank you Uncle Jim for setting such a fine example for all of us to follow. We miss you.

Some people strive their whole lives for greatness, and some are just great by their nature.  Jim Edwards defined what it is to be a great man.  I am blessed to have shared a moment in time with him and will always cherish the conversations we had.  For now, I cling to the hope that someday we will see each other again.

I feel blessed to have been a part of Uncle Jim's life. He was a constant at any family event and was so important in my life and the lives of my children. I will miss his smile, his support and our emails we shared to stay in touch. I am proud to have called him my Uncle--I am humbled to have called him my friend. He will be dearly missed by all of us.

People come and go and no one notices; Uncle Jim was not one of those people. Everywhere he went he touched peoples lives. I will never forget the light that Uncle Jim brought into our home. I Love You Uncle Jim and will forever miss you.

Many people cross our pathes everyday in the journey of life, Uncle Jim was the finest man I know to ever cross my path. He was a great person who will be missed terribly by eveyone he talked to. I Love You Uncle Jim, enjoy the journey ahead.

Uncle Jim, I'll miss our visits, your ready smile, and your stories about the family. You were one of the most unselfish and loving people I've ever known, always interested in every one of your family members near and far. You'll always be in our hearts.

We are sorry to hear of Uncle Jimmy's death. He kept us up on what was going on with the family and we always enjoyed hearing from him. Know that you all are in our thoughts.

Jim will be missed by his Alabama relatives. We're blessed to have had a chance to know him.

Ron, Our families have known each other for over 50 years. We have always known Mr. and Mrs. Edwards and Ron. But, a few years ago, Mr. Edwards became "Jim" and he became a very important part of our family. We appreciate the companionship he provided our mother and the "rock" he was to us as she fought her cancer battles. We know our mother will greatly miss Jim, but so will we. Thank you for sharing your father with us. He was with our family for some very good times and for some very difficult times.

I miss you Uncle Jim now and forever. You have been the best uncle a nephew could ask for. I LOVE YOU and hope to see you again some day. Thank you for being a big part of my life.

It was an honor to have Jim as a brother in law. He was dedicated to his family and friends. Jim was always there for family gathering and was interesting to talk with. He could discuss history or current events. He will always have a special place in our hearts and will be greatly missed by everyone.
