James Patrick Evans, 27 yrs. old, passed away in a tragic auto accident on 2/18/16. James was a loving father to his daughter Juliana Jade Evans (mother Jessica Williams), A loving brother to Erica McCann and Charles Evans Jr (Buddy) and a loving son to Kathleen (Jeff) Haithcock and Charles (April) Evans Sr. Survived by living grandparents Doyle & Lucille James in Florida and Ruby Walton in Ohio, special Aunts and Uncles Michael & Laura James, Mark & Susan Chambers and Mike & Jessica Bertorello. James leaves behind his soul mate Tori Vititoe and her daughter Elliana. Survived by aunts and uncles – Marie (John) Craig, Doyle (Pat) James, Nicholas (Gaye) James, Deanna (David) Rankin, Patricia (Dick) Burke and step sister Felicia McCoy. He will be especially missed by niece Ciera Lloyd, nephew Jordan Evans, and multiple step nieces. James grew up with numerous cousins who were very close – Henry, Cletus, David, Josh, Naomi, JT, Elyse, Ariel, Lynn (Husband Alex), Lexy, Gabi, Leo, Josh and Trevor. James was owner of Styled Tile and his work crew were like family. Survived by childhood friend Jacob Zurface who was like a brother. Preceded in death by Papaw Howard, Papaw Evans, Aunt Jeanne Evans, Aunt Lucille Williams, Uncle Cletus James and cousin Benjamin James. James was loved by so many that it would be impossible to list everyone whose lives were touched by him and who hold a special place in their hearts for him. A Visitation will be held from 3PM to 7PM on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, with the Funeral Service at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation box will be available with funds going to Juliana.
