Peed, James Elbert, 92, of Beavercreek Twp, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at V.A. Hospice. He is preceded in death by his wife Harriet (Fenneman) Peed, his parents Milton and Edna (Furnier) Peed, sisters Elmo Moore and Nora Fultz and grandson Dave Webb. He is survived by his children James Jr. (Lorene) Peed of Bellbrook, David (Lois) Peed of Beavercreek, Tom (Bobbie) Peed of Xenia, Mark (Kathy) Peed of Beavercreek Twp, Esther (Dave) Webb of Beavercreek, John (Michele) Peed of Beavercreek; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of WWII and retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Beavercreek VFW Post #8312 and American Legion Post # 763. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, July 6, 2015 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd.
