Barnett, Janet Marie, age 62, of Beavercreek passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur F. Palmer. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, James A. Barnett, of Beavercreek; her mother, Doris Mae (Lovejoy) Palmer, of Medway; three sisters, Linda and husband, Michael Carroll, of VA, Lois Coleman, of Medway, Sue Ann and husband, Donald Ordaz, of Columbus. She was a 1974 graduate of Ohio Northern University and had attended Wright State University. Janet was a well respected and dedicated teacher for 28 years in the Dayton Public School System. She was an avid traveler with both family and friends. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road with Reverend Richard Fiste officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
