

Janet was predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Carl Larsen, her brother, Lavonne Larsen and sister, Constance Cain.
She leaves behind her husband, Rene LeRouzes; daughter, Vicki (Richard) Blommel and son, Gilbert Riley Jr.; stepson, Rene LeRouzes Jr. (Michelle), stepdaughter, Laura Fisher (Gray);
She is survived by many grandchildren, Erin, Leigh-Ann, Nicholas, Tyler, Dylan, Christie, John; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Hayden, Annabelle, Isaac, Kylee, Tyler, Karter, Kaelie, Aidan.
Janet worked for the Mead Corporation in Dayton, Ohio for many years, while balancing a family life raising two children during her first marriage. She was a good southern-style cook and prepared a meal every evening. Her many interests included pets, especially her Yorkshire Terriers, gardening, country music, dancing and games. Janet was a Bridge Master. Being in and around water was always a part of her life and she taught this to her children.
She loved the ocean, so she moved to Florida in 1980. Janet worked as a realtor in the Boca Raton area. She took up sailing, scuba diving and made many close friends. Visiting Nashville with her daughter or friends were highlights in her life. Janet and Rene LeRouzes met and found love again in their retirement years, 1998. They married and built an active life in the Florida Keys enjoying swimming, diving, snorkeling and fishing. Janet belonged to a bridge group and enjoyed sharing her knowledge. She filled her yard with beautiful trees and flowers, designed to provide homes for birds and butterflies.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am July 29, 2024 at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Drive, Dayton, OH 45409, followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Audubon Society.
