Jeanne Marian Winckelman Berry

BERRY, Jeanne Marian, age 89, passed away at The Hospice of Dayton on June 10, 2011 with family by her side. She was the daughter of Albert and Leola Sauer Winckelman; born April 9, 1922 in Trenton, Ohio. Jeanne graduated from William McGuffey High School in Oxford, Ohio in 1939. She was employed as a secretary at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base and later with the Ohio State University. Her beloved husband USAF Captain William Cecil Berry preceded her in death in 1955. Jeanne has been a true matriarch to her family. She leaves to cherish her memory four sons; William(Nancy)Berry of Charlotte, NC, Nicholas(Alana)Berry of Poinciana, FL, Timothy(Norma)Berry of Houston, TX, and Thomas(Nadira)Berry of Dayton, her grandchildren: Bethany Folds, William and Jonathan Berry; Jeffery and Matthew Berry; Stephanie Berry and Jessica Flach; Ramesh Berry and Maya Poole, seven great-grandchildren, a sister Bonnie Schanz and a niece Cathy Fullen. Jeanne is also preceded in death by: her brother Ted Winckelman, sister Alberta Schalk, and a grandson Daniel Berry. Funeral service to be held 12 noon Monday, June 13, 2011 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- Far Hills Chapel with Rev. Stephen Kimpel officiating. Burial will follow in the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to The Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420, in memory of Jeanne.
