

John Edward Furcon, 83 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 19, 2024 with his family at his side. John was born December 9, 1940 in Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Frank and Mary (Remish) Furcon. Also preceding him in death are two sisters Christina Secula and Carmella Shovlin.
John leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 55 years Karen (Kenyon) Furcon, son Jeff (Terri) Furcon, daughter Jenni (Scott) Bounds; grandchildren twins, John and Mary Bounds, Kristina (John) Hill, great-grandchildren Hannah, J.J. and Molly. Also surviving are his siblings Francis (Theresa) Furcon, Kathy Roushey, Joseph (Toni) Furcon, Michael Furcon.
John was a US Air Force veteran, and computer programmer who retired from WPAFB after 30+ years. He loved model trains, he was a very proud Poppy, loved Christmas, Karen and his family.
John’s family will receive friends at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton – Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Monday, February 26 starting at 9:30 am, with funeral services at 11:00 am.
