HAWKINS, John C., age 97, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at home. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Florence, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was an ironworker and served as a financial secretary for Local 290. He was a Navy veteran of WWII- Pacific. He was a longtime 3,000 hour volunteer at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 11AM at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Dr., Dayton.
