

John graduated from Ohio University and had a successful career in Information Security, most recently at Wright State University. Family time was important and he treasured every moment spent with his loved ones. John enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, or vacationing at the beach. On the weekends he loved watching football while enjoying a craft beer. He was the devoted husband of Natosha (Queen) and loving father of Peyton, Lucy, and Nora. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jayne Strominger and is survived by his father, James (Dick) Strominger; sisters, Angie Connell (Shawn), Tracie Marsh (Mike), and Julie Swain; father-in-law, Larry Queen; mother-in-law, Taffawni Queen; sisters-in-law, Jessica Shuman (Andy) and Leah Bell (Chris); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd, Dayton, OH 45429, Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm, with memorial service to follow at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the John M. Remley Memorial Account (Wright-Patt Credit Union, 3560 Pentagon Blvd. Beavercreek, OH 45431-1706 or dropped off at any Wright-Patt Credit Union location).
