Teresa,  My heart breaks for you and Caitlin. I wish I had more appropriate words to say but I am praying for your hurting hearts. I always remember John looking and speaking of his "girls" so fondly. That is my greatest memory of him and the legacy he leaves- He loved The Lord and his family. Much love, Donna

Heartfelt condolences to the family. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with John at the Miamisburg Walgreens when he was delivering Coke. What an upbeat and happy man who was a true believer. Caitlin may you find comfort in knowing you we're the light of his life. When he spoke of you he would beam from head to toe. I remember developing pictures of a Christmas play where John was an Angel....how fitting that he is truly an Angel now. May you find comfort and peace knowing one day you shall meet again. It doesn't seem possible that you are gone. I don't recall one memory from childhood forward that I didn't see you with a smile on your face, always so happy and full of life. "That guy would give the shirt off his back to help someone" was the epitome of you, always willing to help anyone in need. You had such a passion for your family and those you loved and your Christian values were at the forefront of all you did. I will especially treasure the memories of the special pride and love you had for your sweet daughter, Caitlin. You will be missed dear brother-in-law!

Tom and Arline, We are sorry to hear about John, you raised a good son, I was happy to call him a friend. No matter when or where our paths crossed he was always John, smiling,laughing and having fun. The conversation may start on one subject but by the end you would be talking sports.

To this day, I remember writing about you in first grade for the My Favorite Relative assignment! I already miss your texts and phone calls about booing the Giants, 49ers, and Ducks - guess I will have to start rooting for the Reds, Cowboys, and Bucks now. It's obvious that you influenced so many people in the best ways possible. There are so many people who will miss your smile, goofy sense of humor, and your endless positivity. You're going to be the best guardian angel a niece could ask for. I miss you and love you so much.

Teresa & Caitlyn, So sorry for your loss.  John was a man of God.  He never met a stranger.  A true friend.  Sang with him in the choir for several years and had a great time.  Will miss his smile and strong hand shakes.  Lifting prayers for you both and your family.

I remember John as such a sweet, lovable person; cheerful and helpful and goofy . He was so generous and open and warm, as was the whole Schneider family, to all of us who gathered in their kitchen in West Carrollton those many years ago. My heartfelt condolences to John's wife and daughter, to Tom and Arlene, Laurie and Jeff and their families.

Teresa & Caitlin,
We only met John once when he was working a cheerleading car wash this summer.  I remember thinking what a wonderful dad he was to be hanging out with his daughter that way. You could see the pride in his eyes when he looked at Caitlin. He even bought each of the adult volunteers an unexpected Frosty from Wendy's! As many have stated, he was memorable in just this one brief meeting...smiling and friendly to all.  We are so sorry for your loss.  Our prayers are with you.

Teresa and Caitlin, we're so sorry for your loss.  Everyone who knew John loved him - it was impossible to do otherwise.  Our loss and sorry is balanced by the joy of knowing he is in the presence of Christ.  We know John spent most of his life encouraging others to know Jesus like he did.  He did it by modeling Christ's love and he did it effectively, always with a smile.  Praying for your peace and comfort.
