Dr. John M “Jack” Zimmer age 86 of Dayton passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 with his 3 sons by his side. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary Margaret Zimmer, by his parents, John & Matilda Zimmer, sisters, Marlene and Evelyn Brinkman, brother-in-law Vincent Brinkman. Jack is survived by three sons, Jack (Libby) Zimmer, Dan Zimmer (fiancée` Amy Blakeman) and Doug (Carolyn) Zimmer, three granddaughters, Madeline, Cora and Victoria; brother-in-law, Donald Brinkman. Jack was a lifelong member of Milton Athletic Club and Immaculate Conception Church. He was veteran of U S Army serving in the Korean War. Jack was a Chiropractor for 57 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Smithville Road. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
