Jonelle Blair Shadowens age 78, of West Milton, Ohio passed into the healing arms of Jesus on October 14, 2023, at Hospice of Dayton. Jonelle had been in failing health, but suffered a rapid decline in recent weeks.
She was born to Ralph and Virginia Blair on September 29, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio. Other than her parents, Jonelle was preceded in death by her husband Keith Shadowens, brother Doug Blair, niece Annie Mitchell, and her beloved dog Sophia. She is survived by her sons Brian (Tina) Lakin, David Kennel, sisters Judith Blair, Joyce (Larry) Nosker, Jerilyn (Ron) Mitchell, and her best friend Robyn Palmer. Jonelle was blessed with many loving dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Jonelle loved serving the Lord in every way her health would permit. She was part of the ministry "Compassion First", at her church, Christian Life Center, on Little York Road, Dayton, Ohio. This was where Jonelle asked everyone, who came to the monthly ministry, if she could pray with them. This was Jonelle's joy in life. The people at Compassion First and her Sunday School class, More than Conquerors, were dear to her heart. Jonelle will be missed forever.
