PALMER, Kenneth V., age 85, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Born on November 16, 1925 in Tallega, KY, to parents Charlie Palmer and Iva (Lucas) Palmer. He is survived by his loving spouse of 46 years, Lorene Palmer. Kenneth worked in the maintenance department at Harrison Radiator, was a World War II Army Veteran, and was a former member of the VFW Kettering Post 9927. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Iva; son, Michael; daughter, Barbara Watson; sister, Louise; and brothers, John, Joe, Junior, Cassel, and Tommie. Kenneth is survived in death by his daughter, Brenda Coberly- Spears; step-sons, Paul Martin & Dean Martin; brother, Wilton Palmer; along with 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at 12:00 PM with a funeral service following at 1:00 PM, officiated by Donald Brush, on Friday, July 15, 2011, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH 45429.
