
MULLIGAN, Leo Francis, of Washington Township, died at Hospice of Dayton, on January 30, 2015, following a courageous battle of 30 months with ALS. He was predeceased by his parents, John J. Mulligan and Leona A. Mulligan (nee Stapelton) as well as siblings, Eileen, Charles and Sr. M. Leonita, RSM. Leo is survived by his wife, Marguerite, son L. Patrick and his wife, Cammi, daughter Mary Collette Mulligan and her husband John Gaynor, son Kevin Mulligan and his wife Debra. He is also survived by his sister, Sr. M. Shaun Patrick Mulligan RSM of Dallas, PA and over loved grandchildren: Daniel Patrick Mulligan, Kathleen Anne Mulligan, John Thomas Mulligan and James Michael Mulligan. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School Wilkes-Barre, PA. He then joined the US Air Force and served as a TSgt. in the 22d Armament & Electronics Maintenance Squad at March AFB (SAC). After discharge from the service he graduated from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, PA, with a Bachelor’s degree in History. He moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1966. He was an independent manufacturer’s sales representative until the end of his career. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:30 am, February 4, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering, OH. The Mass will be celebrated by the Most Reverend James C. Timlin, Bishop Emeritus, Scranton, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association or Hospice of Dayton.
