Luella Stein

Luella Pauline (Bertke) Stein, age 78, passed away at Kettering Hospital on Tuesday, October 20th, 2015. Luella was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Martin Stein, brothers, Melvin and Larry Bertke, brother-in-law, F. James Schneble. She is survived by her sons; Timothy (Sylvia) Stein and Joseph (Lena Garner) Stein, daughters; Doretta (David) Marek and Amy (Greg) Jones, sister; Maryann Schneble, brother; Robert (Mary Anne) Bertke, grandchildren; Christine, Andrew and Matthew Stein, Renee (Aaron) Guernsey, Jacob Jones, Samuel and Nicholas Marek, great-grandchildren; Aubrey, Emma, Brantley and Dayne. Luella was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 Smithville Rd, Dayton, OH 45420. Visitation will be held at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, Dayton, OH between 6pm and 8pm on Monday. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery immediately following Mass.
