Very sad to hear about Mark..  Mark will always be my friend.  We grew up together as kids.  His humor is part of me and I remember all the times he would make us laugh.  I miss him now and every day.

I have only run into Mark once since high school, even though we live in the same town. I knew him at JFK junior high and Fairmont East.  He was a really great and funny guy.  My prayers are with your family.  Lori Ferraro

I always  looked forward to flying with Mark. His easy going nature and professional attitude always made for a pleasant flight. 
I lost my wife to cancer three years ago. Cancer takes too many too soon. My condolences to Lisa and the children.

i barely knew mark but the rest of the hickson family i new like they were an extension of my own family especially the kids since i grew up with two of them and saw them almost daily either at school or in the neighborhood  and i want the family to that if mrs. or the kids want to talk to someone who has lost a lot of dear people to him to give eric meyer a call on his cell 937-276-9855 and i hope to talk to each of them face to face real soon and i will keep the family in my prayers because there isnt much i can do to repay them for the kindness they have shown me especially karen when we were in shcool she was one of my very few friends i could count and trust when other looked down on me and i pray that god will provide for them in ways only he can do as will i do to the best of my abilities

Mark was a great family man, respected pilot, and a professional Check Airman.  He was always someone who went out of his way to make you smile.  He always had time to stop by when I was out in the yard and I will miss our chats.  He will be missed and my prayers go out to Lisa and the family. It is with a heavy heart to hear the news of Mark's battle with cancer. I had the opportunity of seeing Mark and his wife, Lisa, in the Oncologist's office a couple month's back. He was determined then in dealing with this disease. I pray he fought the good fight right to the end. Lisa, please accept my most sincere condolences. You and your family will be in our prayers.
