Martha Josephine Keim, 78, died after a brief illness on December 24, 2023, at the age of 78. Martha “Marty” was born in White Oak, a western suburb of Cincinnati, on September 18,1945. She was the daughter of Edward and Josephine (Heid) Boehm and sister of Edward and James Boehm.
She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband Frank William “Bill” Keim, and her three children, Kimberly (Dave) Rulli, William “Bill” (Christina) Keim and John Keim. She is the loving grandmother to Megan, Jacob, Chloe, Mia, and Allison.
Marty attended elementary school at St. James Catholic Church and graduated from Mother of Mercy High School in 1963. In these early years she met lifelong friends she loved. On June 18, 1966, she married Bill Keim at St. James Catholic Church and have since resided in Dayton, Ohio. Later in life, Marty earned a degree in Accounting and enjoyed years of work, retiring in 2008.
Marty will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved family activities and supporting her grandchildren. She was a dear friend to many and enjoyed traveling, family visits to Jasper, Indiana and Lincoln State Park, playing pickleball, volunteering at the Aronoff Center for the Arts, and working at the Fraze Pavilion.
A funeral Mass will be held at 1PM on Friday December 29, 2023, at St. James Catholic Church of White Oak, 3565 Hubble Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247. A private burial will be held in January.
