JACOBS, Mary Elizabeth “Betty”, age 92 of Centerville passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Betty was born on June 25, 1921 in Utopia, Ohio to the late Calvin and Ethel Jones Beckelhimer. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary Jacobs; and two brothers, Calvin and Harry Beckelhimer. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Charles James “Jim” Jacobs; two children, Mary (Ed) Lovett and Brian Jacobs; grandchildren, Brian, James & Alexander Lovett, Crystal and Rhonda and Melissa; several great grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Mary) Beckelhimer and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a volunteer at Kettering Medical Center for many years and was a wonderful seamstress.
