Mary Olson

Mary Louvina (Schaefer) Olson, age 92 of Xenia, Ohio passed away into her Heavenly Father’s Presence on Wednesday March 6, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Olson, daughters Wanda Allen and Sonya Olson, grandson Michael McDonald, son-in-laws Danny Allen, Joseph Braga, parents Edward and Marie Schaefer, sisters Delores (James) Lyman and Ruth Wehrley. She is survived by daughters Linda (Ron) Keltz, Debra Braga, Vanessa (Darren) Stomps, 13 grandchildren: Veronica Hoyt, Brian Keltz, Chris Keltz, Robert McDonald, Psaulm Allen, Melinda Allen, Julie Meschke, Jennifer Brooks, David Braga, Jessica Braga, Jesse Stomps, Krystal Stomps, Kathryn Eiland, 11 great grandchildren, sister Carolyn (Charles) Remy, brother-in-law (Bob Wehrley). She was a graduate of Bethel High School and attended Great Lakes Bible Institute where she met her beloved husband, Robert. They had the joy of celebrating 61 years of marriage. They were active members of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship organization. They were members of the Assembly of God Church. She was a church pianist, served in the Missionette Ministry and was a Sunday school teacher for the teen girls and later seniors’ classes. She was an Administrative Assistant at (OVCH) Ohio Veterans Children’s Home and a state of Ohio retiree. She enjoyed being a Partylite consultant during retirement. She loved her sports. She was a loyal and knowledgeable Cincinnati Reds fan, enjoyed cheering on OSU girls and boys basketball and OSU football. She was dedicated to God and family and loved us all a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
