West, Matthew A., age 38, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. He was born in Dayton on September 17, 1977. He is survived by parents: Russ and Sue West; sister, Karen West (Derek Gullett), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a very special nephew Kellen Mutter. Matt was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, as well as a very talented artist. He left us with many happy memories and will be greatly missed. He attended St. Luke, Carroll, Beavercreek schools, as well as Sinclair Community College. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering, Ohio 45420. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service; inurnment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
