Melissa Sue Gillum

Melissa Sue Gillum Walker, age 45, of Fairborn, OH departed from us October 20, 2013. Missy is survived and loved by her parents Robert E. Gillum and Joann Spencer Gillum. 2 sisters, Tina L.Gillum of Fairborn, OH and Patricia A. ( Ronnie ) Bishop of Kodak, TN. 3 nephews, Noah and Kaleb Ryan of Fairborn and Jordan Boucher of Newport, TN. 2 nieces, Holly Creech ( Rick ) of Sevierville, TN and Megan Lee ( Bobby ) of New Market, TN. 2 great nephews, Samuel Creech of Sevierville, TN and Jordan Lee of New Market, TN. Also an aunt, Peggy Weddington and 2 uncles, Billy and Frank Spencer. Missy was a 1986 graduate of Fairborn High School. She was last employed by General Dynamics as a computer operator for the Department of Defense. Missy was known to all for her willingness to help and her tender heart of giving. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Road, Dayton, OH, Rev. Larry Thomas officiating. Interment will be Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, OH. Visitation will be held from 11 am Thursday at church till the time of service.
