Michael Williamson

Williamson, Michael L., age 69 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Dorothy Williamson, a daughter, Christine M. Arnold and a brother, Steve Williamson. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Betty Williamson; his children also survive him: Tracey Williamson, Stacey Thies, Melissa (Kenny) Younker, Michael L. Williamson, Jr., Stephanie (Jimmy) Cox, Jeff (Dorinda) Arnold and Brian Arnold. He is also survived by two sisters, Patricia (Robert) Bond and Kelly Williamson, eighteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was a member of Beaver Valley Lodge # 753 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, York Rite Bodies of Xenia, Chapter Commandry Council and Beaver Valley OES. He was a member of Berachah Baptist Church and a deputy with the Montgomery County Sherriff’s Department for 21 years. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd on Monday evening, August 17 from 5-8 PM. Masonic and OES services will be held at 7:15 PM Monday evening. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10 AM Tuesday morning, August 18, with Pastor Lamar Ferrell officiating. Entombment is in Royal Oak Mausoleum following the funeral on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berachah Baptist Church in Michael’s memory.
