GOODWIN, Mildred Louise, age 89 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on August 22, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward " Ken" Goodwin; parents, Clarence and Elva Blanche (Campbell) Plummer; mother-in-law, Burilla Goodwin. She is survived by daughters, Jan Thomas and husband Gene of Colorado Springs, CO, Sandy Como of Dayton, OH, Pattie Vitale husband Anthony of Latrobe, PA; grandchildren, Jeff Thomas (Juliana) of Lebanon, OH, Doug Hart of Kettering, OH, Robby Hart of Kettering, OH, Heather Devers (Greg) of Kettering, OH, Nathan Vitale of Latrobe, PA; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas (Julia) of Miamisburg, OH, Jason Thomas of Kettering, OH, Alyssa Hart of Huber Heights, OH, Tyler Hart of Grove City, OH, Cage, Alex, Hailey, Maddie Devers of Kettering, OH and great-great granddaughter, Ruby of Huber Heights, OH; very special angels, Rachel Ary and her loving family and Eric; siblings; Doris Carey of Latrobe, PA, LaVerne Clagett of Willoughby, OH, Peggy McFarland of Derry, PA and Clarence Plummer Jr. of Latrobe, PA. Upon graduation, she left for Washington D.C. and worked for the War Department as a clerk. Later, she became a Dayton, Ohio Police Officer graduating first in her class from the academy. She later devoted herself to her family, she was an avid bowler for many years and crafter of many mediums.
