HIMES, Myrtle Louise, 87, of Beavercreek, passed away April 9, 2015 at Trinity Community. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Himes, her parents William Henry Oren and Elizabeth (Strider) Oren and 8 siblings; also by a granddaughter, Katherine (Katie) Himes, and a grandson, Tim Henry. She is survived by her children Amy McSpadden of Kettering, Naomi (Dave) Henry of Huber Heights, Harley (Thelma) Himes of Xenia, Donna Retter (Tony Burch) of Dayton, and Scott (Shannon) Himes of Dayton, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She retired as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service and is a life member of VFW Post #8312 in Beavercreek. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Deb Howlett officiating. Interment David’s Cemetery.
