Nancy Benchic

Nancy Benchic, age 86, passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 6th, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mildred Morrison; husband of 41 years, Joseph Benchic and sisters, Francis Petty and Mary Alice Morrison. She is survived by her sons, David (Deborah) Benchic, Michael Benchic and Timothy (Bethany) Benchic; sister, Susan Pickering; grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Christopher, Adam and Melanie; great-grandchildren, Garrison, Greyson, and Nolan and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was a working member of The Memorial United Church of Christ. She stayed very active and enjoyed cross-stitching, puzzles, card playing and traveling. She was active in several local senior centers and was a member of two euchre groups. Nancy loved spending time with her grandkids and was loved very much by her family. The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm on Monday, April 10th, 2017 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Memorial service will take place on Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 at 10am at The Memorial United Church of Christ, 2338 E. 5th Street, Dayton, OH 45403. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to The Special Olympics of Ohio, 3303 Winchester Pike Columbus, OH 43232.
