Blair - Townsend, Nina, age 69 of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Betty Blair; sisters Norma Shook, Nancy Townsend. and brother John Hicks. She is survived by her husband Gary Townsend; sons James Blair, David Townsend; daughter Jennifer Townsend; grandchildren Jackson Townsend and Megan Hungling, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Nina graduated from Fairmont East Class of '75 and went on to earn her nursing degree at Sinclair. She worked at St. Elizabeth for 24 years and at Miami Valley Hospital for 27 years. Nina was a member of Bible Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm, Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel. Dr. Randall Townsend officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm - 2 pm on Friday, May 22.
