Paul E. Hankins

HANKINS, PAUL E., age 71 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Dayspring Assisted Living Facility. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Mildred; his step-mother, Mary; his brother, David; father-in-law, Elmer; and close cousins: Bill, Ray, and Jo Ann. He is survived by his two sons: Danny and Steve; daughter-in-law, Sarah; grandchildren: Aleks and Rachel; son-in-law, Vincent; and Paul’s ex-wife, Wanda. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Billie; sisters-in-law: Diana, Joyce, and Tari; brothers-in-law: Lee and Terry; and nieces and nephews: Eric and Aimee, Ean, Lori and Chris, Sophia, Leo, Amber, Jaloni, Jazmine, Penny, and Josh. And close cousins: Marcella, Jim and Carole, Mike and Marilyn, Patti and Pat, Dennis and Julie, Kathie, Chris, Danielle, Ellie, Sarah, Dolly, and Warren. As well as cousins: Jerry and Jen, Angi and Jerry, PJ, Holly, and their families.

Paul was a die-hard Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds fan. He was a graduate of Wilbur Wright High School; and he studied accountancy at Sinclair Community College and Miami University Oxford. He worked for Dayco Corporation and Liberty Savings Bank during his career. He also served as the Commissioner of the Beavercreek Youth Softball Association as well as coaching for the association. Friends may call on the family at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. from 2-4 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2016. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 4 PM Saturday with Chaplain Paul Snyder officiating. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens will be held privately at a later date.
