Phyllis Joanne Friel

Friel, Phyllis Joanne, 81, of Dayton, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Miami Valley Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Thelma Arterberry, and her sister Gail Dubey. Survived by her loving husband James Friel; her children Kathy (Thomas) Henry, Terri (James) Ball; step-children Steve Friel, Sherri Knopp; grandchildren Amy (Derek) Stomberger, John (Tiffany) Mustaine, Rachel (Chris) Gephart, Ashley Mustaine, Eric (Sarah) Mustaine, Chelsea (Nicholas) Baker; great grandchildren Chase, Ryland, Amelia, Haley, Jordan, Nadia, Aniya, JonYale, Jonathan, Cessaly, Shaniya, Addilyn, Eric Jr, Rayne and Braxton; great great grandchild Willow. Her sister Pat Reece and her brother Stuart (Carol) Brooks also survive. Phyllis retired from Phillips Industries. She was a member of the Bethel Christian Church for over 50 years and was active in the choir and teaching Sunday School. She was loved by everyone she met. Family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 AM Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Bethel Christian Church, 327 S. Smithville Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45403.
