Rita R McGrath

Rita R. McGrath, age 85 of Troy, passed away Saturday, April 09, 2016. She was born December 19, 1930 in Dayton to the late, Stanley and Winona Rogers. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Michael, sons, Lamont and Marty, sister, Rosalie Boggs, brothers, Stanley, Jimmie, Jack and Kenneth Rogers. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Bill Dawes), sons, Mark (Cynthia) McGrath and Marvin (Robin) McGrath, daughter-in-law, Kathi McGrath; grandchildren: Shanel, Meagan, Jessica(Chris Macabenta), Seth, Marty, Ashley (Kyle Jordan), Joshua (Jamie) and Rachael (Brandon); great grandchildren: Alontae, Jalaen, Christian, Da`Juan, Justin, De`Shawn, Beckett, Kylynn, and Skilar; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rita retired as Patient Accounts Mgr from St Elizabeth Hospital. She volunteered mending and sewing clothes for Clothesline in Tipp City. Rita enjoyed spending time with family & friends, attending True Life Center in Troy and a member of Troy Senior Center. Graveside service 12 noon on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Woodland Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Rita can be made to Hospice of Miami County. A special Thank You to Hospice of Miami County and their staff for their kindness and care.
