CALL, Robert Wesley, age 85 of Waynesville, Ohio, passed away, at his home on Monday, Feb. 23, 2014. He is survived by his wife Bernice, son Carm and daughter in law Lynn (Stewart) Call. He was preceded in death by brothers William, Elwood and John. Robert was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the U.S. Air Force. Robert was a life member of VFW Post 3438 West Carrollton Ohio; a member of the American Legion for 50 years, including Past Commander of American Legion Post 165 Miamisburg Ohio and a life Member of American Legion Post 615 in Waynesville Ohio. He was employed by NCR and Frigidaire as a journeyman tool and die maker. In the mid 1970's Robert taught machine trades in the Scarlet Oakes and Warren County vocational school systems. Robert retired from Mead Products Engineering in 1990. After retirement Robert worked part time at Adesa auto auction until 2009. Visitation will be from 11 am to 12 noon on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave AT Rahn Rd, Dayton, OH 45429, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon with Pastor Bruce Gleim officiating.
