Frick, Robert C. “Bud”, age 76, passed away on Wednesday September 10, 2014. Bud retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 32 years of service. For 27 of those years he served as an Intelligence Analyst and Branch Chief in the areas of Infrared and Electro-optics. He was a member of the Miami Valley Rose Society and was an avid grower and consulting Rosarian. He also enjoyed genealogy. Bud was preceded by his parents, David and Hazel Frick. He is survived by his wife, Becky; son, Douglas (Candi) Frick; daughter, Jennifer Frick; step-son, David (Ginger) Cook; brother, David S. (Elva) Frick of Erie, PA; grandchildren, Kita Frick-Shipley, Autumn Cahill, Emily Cook, Alonna Riley, and Gavin Frick and by one great granddaughter. A gathering of friends will be on Saturday September 13, 2014 at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at 12:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow beginning at 1:00p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Miami Valley Rose Society or to First Presbyterian Church of Fairborn.
