

Hentrich, Robert L. “Bob”, Jr., age 75, died peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Virginia “Gigi” (Hausfeld) Hentrich; three very special sons, Joseph (Kim Wray) Hentrich of Loudon, TN, Douglas (Karen) Hentrich of Virginia Beach, VA and David (Jennifer) Hentrich of Beavercreek; and five beautiful granddaughters, Emily, Haley, Brooke, Jenna and Jordan. He is also survived by two sisters, Marcia (James) Glenn and Monica Hentrich; sisters-in-law, Joyce (Chuck) Schafer and Linda Hausfeld, “adopted sister,” Carol Shutz, brother-in-law, Wilhelm Thie, Aunt Claire Hentrich, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L., Sr. and Claire Hentrich, a brother, Thomas Hentrich and sister, Beth Thie. Bob is a graduate of the University of Dayton and retired from ABX Air in Wilmington, Ohio as an Environmental Compliance Manager. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, February 11th and 9:00-9:45am on Friday, February 12th at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday, February 12th at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Xenia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton. The family is eternally grateful to the hospice nurses, aides and staff for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Bob and his family.
