He is survived by his wife of 54 years Barbara Kennedy, sons Daniel Kennedy, Steve (Elena) Kennedy and Bill (Amy) Kennedy, grandchildren Mason, Cecilia, Gabby and Rosie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roger was an avid woodworker and carpenter, and was the owner of Kennedy Builders. He was a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and past President of the Greene County Genealogical Society. Roger was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1440 N. Fairfield Rd. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10:30 am. Fr. Terry Schneider celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Tobias Funeral Home- Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd., from 5 pm – 8 pm on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
