

KOEPP, Roger Lee of Dayton, OH and N Ft Myers, Florida died July 4, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. His legacy…Roger was born in Beaver Dam Wisconsin on November 7, 1942 to Ivan Frederick Koepp and Angeline Margaret Konkle. He was the youngest of four children; Surviving are Verna Koepp VonBehren, Monnie Koepp VonBehren and Donald Koepp. After graduating from Prairie Du Sac high school, Roger enlisted in U.S. Army and served from September 1, 1961 – October 16, 1964 as a Light Vehicle Driver in Washington, DC and Heidelberg, Germany. He became a master woodcrafter and built many beautiful pieces of furniture. Roger was a handyman for everyone. His kind heart and generous spirit won him many friends. Roger was a devoted and loyal Cheesehead fan of the Green Bay Packers. Since retirement, Roger and his loving wife have spent the winters in Florida and have made many lasting friendships. Roger had two sons, Walter (Tish) Koepp of Stafford Virginia, and Pete (Kim) Koepp, Indianapolis, IN. Both survive. Walt and Tish have Colby Chapman, Kyle Chapman and Crystal Johnson. Roger’s great grandchildren are Hailey Johnston and Alyssa and Parker Johnson. Roger married Eileen (Ellerbrock) Lafountain on February 18, 1984. He gained five more children; Kevin (Carol) Lafountain, Kay Wyse, Keith (Sharon) Lafountain, Kim (Patrick) Cassidy, and Kelly (Grant) Dunigan. Roger treasured his grandchildren: Josh (Jennifer), Sam(Katie) and Emily Lafountain; Dr. Meghan Wyse, Seth Wyse; Danielle, Gabrielle and Cody Lafountain; Morgan (Mike) Mann, Grace, Maria and Tony Cassidy; Ross Ferree, Zach and Eric (Meg) Dunigan, Shannon (Sean) Kelleher, and Kaitlyn Dunigan. Roger is great-grandfather to Joey Kelleher and Luke Lafountain and soon to arrive Landon Lafountain. Roger’s Farewell Services will be held Monday July 6th at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1315 E Alex-Bell Rd Centerville, Ohio. Gathering of family and friends from 4-5 PM.
