VanZant, Roger Allen, age 73 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Beverley VanZant, daughter Trisha Kennard, and brother Donald VanZant. He is survived by his wife, Tina VanZant; son, Jason (Ryoko) VanZant; daughter, Jenn Guidone; grandchildren Gabriel Guidone, Oliver VanZant, Marley VanZant, Derek Short, Kyle Short, and Maddie Short; granddaughter Myla Lewis; sister Marsha (Bert) Kelsey; niece, Katherine Kelsey, Charlie his dog. Roger is defined by his exemplary work ethic. He was a motorcycle and gun enthusiast, and always had a DAD joke ready. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the VFW Post #9927, 3316 Wilmington Pike, Kettering, Ohio 45429.
