

Hanson, Rollin A., age 95, of Beavercreek, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was born in Readstown, WI on October 2, 1920. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II, in North Africa and Italy. He has lived in the Dayton area since 1945. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Mary in 1963, his parents, a brother, a sister and an infant grandson. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Kettering since 1948, where he was an Elder and Sunday School Teacher for 53 years. He retired from Globe Motors after 32 1/2 years. He is survived by his wife, Temple Ann (Bowlus) Hanson; four children, Mary Jane Ellis,of AL, Judy (Edward) Lemmert, of OH, Linda Susan (Don) Sorrell, of KY and David Hanson, of IN; 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Interment will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time service on Thursday.
