

Long, Ruby age 94, of Sycamore Glen Retirement Community passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011 at Sycamore Glen Health Center. Ruby worked at W.W. Mac on East Third Street and McCrory’s at the Dayton Mall in retail sales. She was a member of the Moraine Heights Baptist Church for 51 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Wesley; and daughter, Betty Siler of West Carrollton, OH. She is survived by 1 son, Quincy Long and wife Becky of Miamisburg, OH; and 6 daughters, Rosella Baker of Atlanta, GA; Lora Vest of West Carrollton, OH; Mary Smith and husband Lee of Bellbrook, OH; June Vetter and husband Richard of Fairfield, OH; Yvonne Wise of Washington D.C.; and Debbie Grant and husband Norman of Centerville, OH; and 1 brother, Ray Buhl and wife Yvonne of Williamsburg, KY; 20 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren. Visitation and viewing will be on Friday, May 13, from 10-11a.m. followed immediately by the funeral services at 11 a.m. The viewing and funeral services will be held at Moraine Heights Baptist Church, 5661 Munger Road with Pastor Terrell Hudson officiating.
