Ruth Fritz

Mary “Ruth” Fritz, age 98 of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012. She was born July 1, 1914 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Billings) Bright. Mary was married to Edward Fritz, Sr. and he precedes her in death.

She is survived by her son, Edward “Skip” Fritz, Jr. of New Carlisle; daughter, Sandra and George Kleinfelder of Beavercreek; 7 grandchildren, George, Dave and Michael Kleinfelder and spouses, Jeff, John, Joe Fritz, and Melissa Borck and spouses; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her brothers, Otis Clark Bright, Robert Bright, and Willard Bright.

Ruth retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and dedicated many hours of service with Maria Joseph Nursing Home. She was a member of Mi Phi Gamma Mothers Club and Mi Phi Gamma Grandmothers Club.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, 45420. Interment will follow the services in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service (10 – 11 AM) at the funeral home.
