SNYDER, Ruth V. age 98 of Kettering and formerly of Portsmouth, OH, passed away on Monday April 9, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Snyder on November 5, 1999; parents, Wallace and Pearl Bazler; brothers, Jack and Jim Bazler; and sister, Mildred Parker. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Mike) DeBusk of Pilot Mountain, NC; son, Jerry (Kathy) Snyder of Riverside, OH; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Rogers and Alma Sexton. Ruth was the last charter member of Carey’s Run Church of Christ. She lived each day to its fullest. The family would like to express their extreme gratitude for the care she received and friends she made at Oak Creek Terrace. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday April 13, 2018 at Brant Funeral Home, 422 Harding Ave., Portsmouth, OH 45662. The family will receive friends at 10 AM until the time of the service.
